PRIVACY POLICY

Your game.
Your data.

Effective August 14, 2026

01

Scope and who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to the PlayFlow remote-play application and related support on Android phones and tablets, iPhone, iPad, and Mac. In this policy, “we” means PlayFlow / the developer identified in the app store listing.

PlayFlow is independent software. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

02

What the developer does not collect

PlayFlow does not operate an account system or developer backend. The app does not include advertising, analytics, or remote crash-reporting SDKs. We do not receive your console credentials, host list, gameplay, video, microphone audio, controller input, precise location, advertising identifiers, contacts, or payment-card information through the app.

Your app store and operating-system provider may independently process purchase, installation, entitlement, diagnostic, or device information under its own terms and privacy policy. That processing is outside PlayFlow’s developer-operated systems.

03

Information stored on your device

To provide remote play, PlayFlow stores host details and preferences locally on your device. Depending on the host and platform, this may include the console address, display name, account identifier, registration or wake credentials, pairing state, and video, audio, and control preferences.

In the current Android app (version 0.1.0), sensitive host credentials are encrypted locally with AES-256-GCM, and the encryption key is managed by Android Keystore. These protections apply to the app’s local credential store; they do not turn user-created exports into encrypted files.

04

Local network and console communication

PlayFlow communicates directly with the host console you choose. Local-network access is used to discover, register, wake, and connect to consoles. During a session, video, audio, and controller data travel between your device and the console or platform service needed to provide remote play.

The developer does not receive or retain that session traffic. Network operators and the console or platform provider may process connection data under their own terms.

05

Microphone

PlayFlow requests microphone access only when you choose a feature that needs it. When enabled during remote play, microphone audio is transmitted to the connected console for that session. PlayFlow does not save microphone recordings and does not send them to a developer-operated server.

You can deny or revoke microphone permission in your device settings. Remote-play features that require microphone input may then be unavailable.

06

Exports and your responsibility

The current Android app can export host configuration as a JSON file. That export is plaintext and may include a reusable console registration key. Anyone who obtains the file may be able to reuse the credentials it contains.

Store exports securely, share them only with people and devices you trust, and delete copies you no longer need. PlayFlow does not upload or retain your export. Importing an export copies its contents into the app’s local storage on the receiving device.

07

Retention, deletion, and privacy rights

Local host data remains on your device until you remove the host or app data, uninstall PlayFlow, or erase the device. Exported files remain wherever you save or share them until you delete those copies.

Depending on where you live, privacy law may provide rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal data. Because PlayFlow has no developer account or backend and the developer does not possess the local data described above, the fastest way to exercise control is through the app and device controls. You may still contact us with a privacy request or question; we will respond as required by applicable law.

08

Children’s privacy

PlayFlow is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through a developer-operated backend. Parents or guardians with a concern may contact us.

09

Security, changes, and contact

We use platform security features appropriate to the app, but no device, network, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your device, console, and exported credentials protected.

We may update this policy if PlayFlow’s data practices or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update its effective date.
